Trade Secrets

When purchasing a multi-variety blend, make sure each variety is genetically unique from the others or you may be wasting valuable resources.  If the gene pool is too shallow they may be susceptible to the same diseases and stress.

Feed the bees please!  Adding a little clover to your pasture mix provides food for more than just your livestock – it also provides forage and habitat for beneficial pollinators.

Cover Crop

The first step in picking the right cover crop(s) is knowing what you hope to accomplish. If you have multiple goals, identify your top three – find the best products available, and finally, make sure they’ve been proven effective in your climate, soil type and
cropping cycle.
